Dr. Roger Sanchez Vital
Postdoctoral Researcher · Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC),
a member of the Wireless Networks Group
within the Network Engineering Department.
I received my PhD and B.Sc. in Network Engineering from UPC in 2025 and 2020, respectively.
I also hold an M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull (2021).
My research focuses on energy-efficient wireless networks and the
IEEE 802.11 standard. I am particularly interested in
IoT-related technologies, Wake-up Radio (WuR) systems, LoRaWAN, LR-FHSS,
and power-saving mechanisms for next-generation wireless protocols.
